Banana flour is simply flour made from green bananas.  Green bananas have not ripened, so they have less sugar content, and banana flour also contains a great amount of resistant starch, which makes it an excellent pre-biotic, which means it promotes healthy bacteria in our gut.  Check out  for more info.
